How to Play
Each day brings a new challenge. Six brand new questions with different prompts and rules to score as many points as you can. You have 5 seconds to read, then 25 seconds to answer. Play the Classic version which spans questions from geography to politics to science to pop culture — or try our new “Sportie” version with questions from the biggest leagues around the world.
Scoring & the Leaderboard
Every answer is ranked against the rest of that prompt’s bank based off the question’s rule. Answers fall into six categories from Mach to Stall. There’s only a single #1 answer for each question — that’s a Mach. A perfect flight is 750.
- Mach Top value in the bank 125
- Burner 80th percentile and up 90
- Cruise 50th–79th percentile 65
- Climb 25th–49th percentile 30
- Float Under the 25th percentile 10
- Stall Clock runs out 0
Leaderboard
- Daily. Classic and Sportie each have their own board. Highest score ranks first, and ties share a place.
- Monthly. Daily scores from the month add together. The top three earn Top Gun, Wingman, and Formation Flyer.
- Names. A signed-in pilot is listed under their callsign. A guest is listed under a guest name.
FAQ
When does the daily mission reset?
At midnight on your device. The Next Briefing timer counts down to it.
What is Fly The Archive?
Practice. Each flight is six prompts mixed from days that are no longer live, so today’s questions join after the reset. Classic and Sportie each have an archive. Fly them as often as you want — those scores stay off the leaderboard.
How do callsigns work?
Your callsign is the name on the leaderboard and in your logbook. Play with a guest account or sign in to create and edit your own - no e-mail required.
